A Gathering Place

The Agora Hotel sits at the center of Lefkara, Cyprus, in what was once the village market hall, a place where people exchanged stories long before it welcomed travelers. Its name carries the Greek meaning of ‘a gathering place,’ and that spirit continues in the rhythm of the courtyard, the gentle flow of the shared spaces, and the experiences that shape each day. Our project followed this sense of presence, from moments of stillness on the property to time spent in the surrounding landscape with The Agora team. There is a careful attention to how the hotel welcomes people and brings them into the life of the village, a quality that has begun to be acknowledged globally, recently marked by a Michelin Key that reflects its approach to hospitality.
